Who Am I?
For most of my career, I taught athletic and Olympic coaches leadership and communication skills to achieve extraordinary performance. In 2008, my interest shifted to the study of neuroscience and needs based communication (also known as nonviolent communication or NVC). My passion has become merging the principles of interpersonal neurobiology with the process of self- discovery to create deeper connections with self and others.
Improving my communication skills to support others in building better relationships became my deep desire in life. My purpose is to guide you and be with you as you discover your triggers and relationship patterns that have developed in order to keep you safe. Modern scientists have discovered through research we can change how we respond to life’s events. You can build yourself a kinder, more compassionate brain. With a kinder, more compassionate brain, you will begin to change stuck and hidden patterns. You can begin to experience yourself and others differently.
I have a bachelor of science degree and am trained as a life and sport coach. In 2009, I began to study with Sarah Peyton and in 2021 received certification as a Resonant Healing Practitioner. I am also certified as a trainer of Nonviolent Communication. As a life long learner, I have studied and digested thousands of hours in trainings, and workshops in Convergent Facilitation, Depth Empathy Processes, Family Constellations, Attachment Theory, Group Facilitation, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
Personal Life:
I am grateful and love dearly my children who are my greatest teachers and inspiration. I enjoy spending time outdoors and off the grid at our family cabin. I have a piano that I never play and I love music and dancing.
